GREAT IDEA! Your readership is high enough to do it! Go EB!
awesome - I just spent like 2 hours looking through my favs, lol! I'll email tomorrow. Love the list, the hat, the pottery, and the COLOUR!! :)
well holy cowl this is very nice, a great idea.
Wonderful selection. I clicked on everything, and although I do have to say I hadn't seen some of these sellers before, the overall look really isn't so much different from the front page on Etsy.
I'm not quite sure how to say this, it's just that it gave me that same 'etsy vibe' with the items you selected.
Or maybe you're just trying to prove a point that you can get the 'etsy vibe' with a larger group of sellers than they are currently using? If that's the case, kudos then!
Just remember that not everyone is going to fit the 'etsy vibe' but still have great products for sale.
Love the tree painting! Wow!
I really like that Cthulu hat....Hmmm....
Windys, that was indeed my intent on this first GG. Our next ones will be more diverse, I promise.
Windy's got an eye!!
Love it! Can't wait to see the more diverse ones. I hope you can do them daily. :)
Great idea.I did a similar thing on my blog and made an Etsy mini of my favorites. Most of my pics are artist I think are interesting but will probably not ever enimake the front page of Etsy.
I like the concept! I used to love looking through the user-created treasuries on the site but when it started filling up with picks purely to get to the FP, I stopped paying any mind to them completely.
I'm excited to see new sellers!
Peggysu, the one who painted the red trees? I wish she offered cards or prints of some of her paintings, I love her style but can't afford original artwork right now.
Great idea, EB. I think I'll add something like this to my blog one each week. It can't hurt to try to help other sellers!
Nice!
I am so happy that you did this! This shows "them" that you aren't playing around! The Gift Guide looks wonderful! I'm sending pictures soon, as well. Right on sista-bitches.
I love this idea, and your first collection is really nice. I clicked on each item, and added a couple to my faves. Can't wait to see each EB Guide you create!
Go EB! You guys rock my socks.
First let me say "Thank you" for picking my vase for your front page, I feel so honored!!!
Second, let me say it is so nice to see a front page with some COLOR!!!!
I knew I would never make the real front page because, 1. they rarely put glass on there and.
2. I don't have anything that bland that would fit!!
So thank you again but mainly thank you for helping me find this blog!!!!
Jane
I am so sure that the Etsy Bitch fans would love to see this showcased as one of your fav's
