We Spoke With Rokali

Hello all!

We spoke with Rob Kalin tonight for 1 hour and 45 minutes. It was a good talk, and he listened and answered questions for us.

We hope to have something for you to peruse in the next few days about the chat. Please understand that the file is 1 hour and 45 minutes with a lot of side chatter. We're working on this between our real jobs, so please be patient.

Forums are off

We're closing the the forums for the immediate future. They are not gone - just on break.

We have some plans for the site in the new year, including our own domain, new features, etc... so it's likely we will bring them back in a new improved form then, but right now they are a big distraction from what we want to do with the blog in an already overwhelming holiday season. That's right -we're scaling back to focus on more important stuff.

We put the forums in maintenance mode, and with one button we can flip them back on. Everything that was there is still there. Maybe we'll open it up on weekends or something, but it's just too much to deal with right now on a daily basis with holiday shoppers hopefully all coming our way.

With that said - we have chat! It's that button, you know, right under the forum one on the right. (We even picked a new chat system that looks like it runs better than the old one anyway) Come on in and say hi!
