Ah those lazy admin

Etsy is trying to shake up the same old same old gift guides by asking their Twitter followers to do it for them. Post a link to your favorite Etsy item with the tag #myetsy and they'll consider it for inclusion in the Twitter Picks GG.

Oh, but wait...what's this I see. They didn't even check to make sure there's a picture of the item!

Lazy admin, even when they have other people do their job they can't get it right.

Not only did I go cross-eyed when checking this oh so boring (sellers working for free again) GG, have you seen the rest of them? Sure looks like every pick is coming out of the same sweatshop - like a blur. I thought I lost my way in the bargain bin at the dollar store.

What a way to turn off shoppers - send them to the GG's!!! Final conclusion - Etsy's managed to trash anyones' perception of handmade!

After mangling the D&D's and every other Etsy controlled section on the site, they should change the Promo Buttons------take out the blurb "all things handmade" because it no longer applies to Etsy.

Oh how exotic...this is about as good as the time they decided the best way to find individual shops in search engines was to put our user names on every square inch available in our shops---tacky and bad. They need to stop playing twister with their etsy pets in the "labs" and start working

Fuck Etsy and their success at attracting kids with no money and no taste or experience. Just what we need for a customer base.
How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways.

"This item appeared on the front page of Etsy.com" is perfect! What better way to brand artists' items than to remove the pictures (which they worked so hard to make "Etsy-style") and just go with the brand.

Who needs to see what it is? And it adds to the mystery--click, click, click!

oh. my. that is pretty darn lazy and does indeed give credibility to the rumor that etsy picks the same sellers over and over again, what with 'this was on the front page' staring us right in the face.

Oh those silly-nillies! I bet they were so busy checking to make sure the tags were in compliance, they didn't even look at the pictures! lol

I have a few theories about just how Etsy goes about picking a gift guide, one of which involves a cat that really like eating cowls.

I kinda lost it after seeing a wedding cake topper on the front page of a Halloween decor gift guide.

Why does this latest screw up, not surprise me in the least?

I would just like to shake those little hip wannabes till their teeth rattled...although it probably wouldn't help except to make me feel better!

I keep asking myself, who the hell is "minding that store"? How can a whole group of people be so absolutely devoid of intelligence?
