I do believe in Swimmy! I do! I do!

'Cmon everyone, clapping your hands and believing really REALLY hard saved Tinkerbell, didn't it? Maybe if we ALL clap our hands and believe in Swimmy, he'll be buoyed up by our sparkling power of positive thinking! If we all work together and hold our hands over our ears and sing "Kum By Ya" really loudly, unicorns and ponycars will frolic in the fields while bunnies ejaculate rainbows! Hooray!

Thanks for your lovely post. I know it inspires all of us to keep a positive attitude even in the midst of frustration. I know I think work gets done better and faster when we keep positive. Even though we all sometimes feel small and helpless when it comes to this place we all love so much, it's important to remember that with every word we type and every item we list, we are building Etsy. Thank you for your wonderful attitude and cheerfulness, I will let these words inspire all the work I do today...

I have a feeling that the writers of this blog don't WANT etsy to get better or for it to improve.. because then what happens?? um... hooray? Not that you won't find something else to bitch about, of course.

Please.. go outside. go do something. go work on your shop or help someone with theirs. Don't you get tired of being so negative and mean all of the time??

I am a realist. That means that I see the positives and negatives to a situation.

There would be no possible way for me to post a "positive" thread 100%of the time.

BTW, I know a good vet that could fix that bunny.

Ashley dear, read the "Etsy Roots" post above this one. Maybe you'll get why we bitch.

As for being "negative and mean all of the time", do you seriously see us hunched over our keyboards in dark cluttered rooms smelling of stale cigars???

Ummmmm, no. There's a reason that there are ten of up plus the Bitch's Auxiliary. Who the hell wants to stay inside obsessing over Etsy all the time??? Maybe Swimmy, but it sure as hell ain't us!

Later Sweetie!

Actually I picture you all as stealth ninjas hiding under the desks at etsy HQ wearing handmade scarfs across your faces that camouflage with the skyline outside the windows...but maybe that's just because of TheSneakyOne's avatar! And every so often you poke an admin with a stick...made of paper mache...ok I'll stop with my fantasy now.

This is so touching - it has inspired me to change not only my avatar, but my life.

Wait you guys don't have cigars?

wristeroni - Thanks. :-) You don't even want to know some of the tags I brainstormed before I settled on that one.

I'm getting so sick of seeing the love-in mentality pushed by supposed adults in the forums. Etsy is a business, not a daycare, where we have to step carefully and not hurt anyone's feelings or we won't get a cracker.

Clappity clappity~ Yay! Whee! I'm shitting gumdrops as we speak! My vomit is fairy dust! Phew, I feel so much better now, and eveything is fixed! Now, I must go back to reading "The Secret": THIS is what will save my Etsy shop!!!!
((((hugz)))))

OK, my sarcasm aside, frankly, I find it a little ALARMING how many forum posts there are about how this book "The Secret" will save your Etsy shop/your promotions/listings/sales etc. I mean people are looking to as "higher power" to help their Etsy shop, but, not the administration?? Huh??

If you love this book, I don't mean to offend, never read it. But, I would simply prefer to have a working site w/o having to put my blinders on and clap aimlessly as nothing gets done, while my hundreds of dollars of fees are due very month.

Maybe you should go outside and do something productive besides coming here to Bitch about people bitching...

Take your own advice.

Free speech ain't so free apparently.

When the day comes that we have nothing to bitch about in regards to Etsy, we'll party!

The day we have to close this blog because Etsy has corrected itself will be a beautiful day!

Until then, we offer a dissenting view to cupcakes and kool-aid.

I find that thread ... bizarre. I made a tiny, snarky little post, and then resorted to lots of smilies and actually typed "LOL", which I've never done before.

It made me feel so dirty, but I couldn't help myself.

Is this a business venue or a kindergarten glee club?

I kinda just puked in my mouth a little.

Has anyone actually read that OP's profile? It's so bizarre it's hilarious. I would never, ever, ever buy anything from someone with such a negative, snarky, suspicious nasty set of policies. Check it out.
