"I'm so sorry this happened to you".
Puhleeze... you don't know this person and you really don't care, but what a great way to get your shop noticed huh? Too bad your avatar is fugly.
"marking this..."
Why? Are you really going to be able to find this among the BAZILLION threads you've posted in? Really? Wow, you need to get a life.
"How do you make those little hearts?"
What hearts? All I see are little boxes on my Mac.
"Is Majaba/Paypal/ProjectWonderful/Twitter/Blogger/WeLoveEtsy/myGreatAuntMartha's Site Down?"
Um.. this is Etsy.com.. who the freak knows?
"Show Me Blue/Green/Daisies/Pickled Nipples!"

I've been guilty of all but the first lol
1, 2 and 5 here!
Do you ever just peruse the forums and wonder if half (or more) of the people posting have more than two brain cells to rub together? One of my biggest peevs is coming to the forum looking for info that you could easily find if you put forth an smidge of effort and researched it yourself. I once posted in T&M then wondered why the hell I hadn't just Googled it! LOL As if the Etsy forum is the ultimate source for accurate info.
LOL. That's all. These are so true.
Hey, I mark threads left and right. :P And proud of it, sugar!
"I'm so sorry this happened to you" posts make me cringe everytime I see them. 100% ugh.
I'm also amazed that the Etsy fora seems to be the world's largest gathering of people who have never heard of Google search.
"I'm also amazed that the Etsy fora seems to be the world's largest gathering of people who have never heard of Google search."
Bwahaha! I'm dyin' ova here!
The threads that break my heart are the "my dog is spitting up blood and hasn't eaten in five days. What should I do?" threads.
I want to reach through the computer and throttle the irresponsible owners as well as any and all of the dolts who take the time to type anything other than GET THAT ANIMAL TO A VET NOW!
I'm getting miffed just thinking about it. Grrr.
"I'm also amazed that the Etsy fora seems to be the world's largest gathering of people who have never heard of Google search."
Okay, back to laughing again now. Bwahahaha!
"I'm also amazed that the Etsy fora seems to be the world's largest gathering of people who have never heard of Google search."
I spend the majority of my time in the fora shaking my head and thinking this exact same thing.
The usual titles/topics:
"Jewelry makers-where do you buy beads?"
"I see that lip balm sells really well on etsy. Where can I buy supplies to make some, too?"
"Where do you guys get those scrabble tiles??"
Pickled Nipples? YUM!
*snicker*
this sealed the deal for me being completely in love with this blog, although pickled nipples turned my stomach a bit
