WTF???

Let's hope it's an inspiration in terms of the film technique, and not in that he should reproduce.

Poor kid.

Playmats for all Etsy employees? I'm sure this is a pretty good representation of what goes on at HQ all day anyway.

I have to echo B.R. regarding the procreation idea! That is a frightening thought!

I wonder if he's planning on making some installation art piece in his dining room, where he wears a onesie and crawls around at high speed putting random colourful toys in his mouth?

Arts said...

I wish the word 'dining' was spelled correctly, but I am impressed that the baby could stay be entertained for 2 hours. That in itself is a small miracle :-)

Or is this a comment he is more mature than most of those who work at etsy, especially the ex-ceo?

Who follows him on twitter? I don't like boredom and won't go out in search for it. There are enough meaningless BS in reality without looking at his tweets.

Hahahahaha!

That looks EXACTLY like the organization skills and focus Kalin has. I can see why this is so motivational to him.

Would't it be nice to hear from ex-Admins about their inhouse experiences with Kalin and all the people he hired? From the last de-throning, Kalin was just as involved with these Admins from the outside - it's an interesting dependency. He may be out again but his influence and attitude towards sellers lives on.

Can't he just take all his money and go bunk out in the Hamptons for a year or 2?

So his new project is to make a big mess? Thought he already did that with Etsy.

I assume he actually was looking at the floor for the entire video... you know since it appears to be made of wood.

That or he's starting a baby toy empire. Maybe baby cat toys?

Yes, that makes me feel better about humanity.

Anyone read that weird forum thread about Etsy and Kissmetrics?

I don't know what he could possibly be motivated to do after watching this video, except go play with a baby, which is exactly what I want to do.

Maybe he is going to start volunteering holding babies in the NICU or something? I could get behind that.

The Righteous One said...

If he's going to be holding babies in the NICU then parents should be warned...he'll drop your kid, tell you it's your fault and that you need a better camera to really capture the parts that aren't damaged, and then he'll bill you for the advice. And you'll still have to pick your baby up and take them to a doctor because he'll have fired all the NICU docs for 'ruining his baby soothing process'. When you try to complain, he'll be too busy watching Youtube videos of shiny things and plotting his next job move.

All of these commenters need to lighten up! This video was funny and original. He clearly didn't leave the baby for hours on its own, they even put that in the video. Calm down.

LOL! He was like a little wiggle worm. That really was cute.
