Anyone who would think that Etsy is really going to change anything unless the evil little CEO dork steps down is hopelessly deluded. The company reflects his personality 100%; the only way they will change is if it's sold, or they get a new CEO and he entirely leaves. As Warren Buffet says, though, changing a company's culture is essentially impossible. In all likelihood, Etsy will always be horrible - unless they replace every single employee and start over.
lI think that as far as Etsy goes, it's ABC (Already Been Chewed). It's pretty useless to bitch when the people who make decisions on Etsy are completely unconcerned about the sellers on the site. They have their moneymaker, and everything else is invisible to them.
I do like a good bitch, but Etsy is just too damned SSDD to bother with anymore. Like a lot of people, my energies are spent elsewhere. Love you bitches and always will.....
